The school’s intimate cooking lessons are hosted in Norris’ home kitchen for group and private parties.

Cooking runs in her family, as both of Norris’ parents were cooks, and she was exposed to many different types of foods early on. As a teen, her first jobs were in restaurants. She started Whisked Away Cooking School a decade ago and currently has about 900 students go through her classes annually. “My goal is for people to want to cook at home, so I try to give my students the tools they need to make their time in the kitchen more efficient and not so daunting,” Norris explains.
